The businessman Emerson Rodrigues Esteves, who was ahead of negotiations with Eaton Corporation for the purchase of Blinda, all its tooling and machinery, has just announced that the last stage of the rights section of the brand was completed and Polar Componentes Brasil is officially the owner of the brand.
Blinda, for 60 years in the national market, now under the direction of Polar Components Group, resumes the manufacture of Ex equipment such as junction boxes, passage/distribution boxes, junction boxes, grounding systems, sirens, manufactured with “copper-free” aluminum, which is totally free of impurities. The Ex equipment with increased safety (Ex e) or with protection by enclosure (Ex t) as command bottons, control units, junction boxes and distribution panels, are manufactured in fiberglass reinforced polyester or stainless steel, with 1st line componentes, imported from Germany.
Dedicated component stock is available for fabrication and assembly, including for custom projects.
The list of products manufactures by Blinda for classified areas is extensive and is duly certified or in final phase of certification by independent bodies, like Inmetro.
According to Emerson Esteves, the ultimate goal is to offer customers and consumers protection and security that ensure a high level of regulatory and legal compliance of facilities in classified areas. Emerson also reports that the acquisition of Blinda is aligned with Polar´s business plan, which is increasing its product portfolio for classified areas, either from its own brand Blinda or from the best global manufacturers.
